Donald Trump continues to shake up the swamp, this time at the U.S. Agency for Global Media by nominating a new leader to replace Kari Lake. Leftists are losing their minds, of course. For years, this agency has been a playground for pro-globalist hacks who love lecturing Americans about “democracy” while pushing their own anti-American agenda around the globe. It’s fueled with taxpayer dollars, yet often sounds more like a mouthpiece for liberal elites than a proud American voice.
By putting a State Department undersecretary at the helm, Trump is sending a clear message: he’s not messing around. The old days of weak-kneed bureaucrats playing nice with foreign propagandists are over. Liberals loved it when their buddies ran the place, pushing globalist priorities and pretending it was “news.” Now, real oversight is coming, and that’s a nightmare for the left’s media machine. No more business as usual.

Let’s not forget, Voice of America is under this agency, too. For years, this so-called “news” outlet has embarrassed itself by parroting whatever narrative the establishment wants to shove down our throats. Instead of defending American values, they’ve been busy cozying up to foreign leaders and undermining the people who actually love this country. It’s about time someone with an actual backbone took charge.
Liberals talk a big game about “diversity of ideas,” but they panic when conservatives step up to lead. They want total control of the narrative—at home and abroad. When Trump makes a move to fix these broken institutions, the left screams about “democracy” being under threat. Truth is, they’re terrified of transparency, because sunlight exposes their incompetence and hypocrisy.
This isn’t just about one agency. It’s about fighting back against the entire machine that’s been brainwashing Americans and the world for decades. Trump is putting America first—again. Why should our money fund another globalist echo chamber? Maybe it’s time the U.S. Agency for Global Media actually worked for the United States.
