In the latest jaw-dropping moment of televised political drama, President Donald Trump showed once again why he commands the conservative stage like no other. Faced with the predictable attacks from CBS News, he turned a litany of baseless accusations into a reminder of the relentless persecution he endured at the hands of the political left. After four years under Biden’s administration, where attempts to imprison him were openly celebrated, suddenly, Trump finds himself being accused of the very tactics employed against him. The hypocrisy is staggering.
CBS’s attempt to paint Trump’s DOJ as a tool of vengeance is laughable. The left spent years turning every available legal mechanism into a bludgeon to be used against him, fueled by conspiracy and vendetta. When Democrats crafted narratives around fictional collusion and politically motivated impeachments, the mainstream media cheered them on. But now, when actual corruption is exposed and the legal system acts, they cry foul and call it “political retribution.”

These indictments aren’t random or frivolous. They’re rooted in significant allegations—against James Comey for lying to Congress, John Bolton for mishandling classified documents, and Letitia James for mortgage fraud. Trump wasn’t out there orchestrating revenge; these are the natural consequences of a Justice Department cleansing itself of past biases and finally doing its job. These aren’t innocent victims of a power-hungry president but actors who thought their actions would never catch up to them.
The mainstream media loves to project fearfulness onto Trump’s actions, ignoring their own failure to question similar partisan moves by the Biden administration. This selective outrage highlights how liberal elites have spun justice into a partisan game—convenient accountability for their enemies, breathless protection for their allies. Trump, instead, endorses a justice system that sees through the bias and asks the real questions. Where were these media “watchdogs” questioning Biden’s buddies when real persecution was happening?
The liberal bias aims to protect the rotten from facing justice, banking on America’s short memory. But here’s a reminder they won’t easily brush off: justice serves no special interests. If the left thinks playing the victim card will hide their hypocrisy, they’ve sorely underestimated the people. Isn’t it time we stop pretending the rules are different for them? Is it too much to ask for fairness? Or is that only reserved for their chosen ones?
