In a scorching tirade outside a New York City courtroom, the always entertaining former President Donald Trump unleashed his fury at the ongoing legal proceedings against him, calling the entire system “corrupt.” And boy, was he fired up! Trump couldn’t help but express his annoyance at being “stuck” in New York because of this trial, lamenting the fact that he couldn’t be out there on the campaign trail in states like Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Ohio. Can you blame him?
The former president didn’t hold back in his criticism of the judge’s ruling on the value of his beloved Mar-a-Lago property. Apparently, the judge had the audacity to value it at a measly $18 million, while Trump himself firmly believed it was worth a whopping $1.8 billion. Talk about a difference of opinion! But hey, who needs facts when you have personal valuations, right?
Not one to shy away from controversy, Trump once again accused the whole legal process of being politically motivated. He claimed that New York Attorney General Letitia James and the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. were colluding to keep him tied up in court, all because he’s supposedly leading President Biden by a mile in the polls. Election interference at its finest, folks! According to Trump, this entire case is nothing more than a sham cooked up by fraudulent people. He even suggested that the judge was in cahoots with the Democrats, calling him a “controlled” Democrat judge. The nerve!
But let’s give credit where credit is due. Trump knows New York City better than anyone. I mean, who else could understand its inner workings like he does? The man practically built the city with his own bare hands (at least in his mind). So, when he says that the whole system is corrupt, we should probably take his word for it, right?
And just when you thought things couldn’t get any crazier, Judge Engoron had the nerve to issue a gag order against Trump. Can you believe it? All because Trump had the audacity to post a little something on Truth Social, his new favorite social media platform, criticizing one of the judge’s law clerks. Apparently, Judge Engoron didn’t appreciate Trump sharing a photo of the law clerk with none other than Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Talk about sensitive! But hey, who needs free speech when a judge’s feelings are at stake?
In the end, Trump simply wanted to shed light on the corruption he believes is happening behind closed courtroom doors. And who better to root out corruption than the man with the most fantastic, the most tremendous, the most tremendously terrific hair? Nobody, that’s who! So, let’s all take a moment and thank the media for giving Trump the platform he so desperately needs to expose the swamp. You’re doing a great job, guys! Keep up the unbiased and fair reporting!
