If the example of Venezuela hadn’t already drilled the point home, Harris’ plan is a clear instance of leaning into the same disastrous doctrine that brought about shortages and hunger in communist regimes.

With increases of 46% for eggs and a whopping 37% for butter, ensuring Americans’ access to affordable food has become a cruel joke under the current administration. The former president made it clear that while Harris might want to play fairy godmother, her ideas are fundamentally flawed and will lead to more pain, rather than the relief she promises.
In a moment that highlighted both the absurdity of the proposal and the sheer hilarity of the left’s promise of “affordable” food, Trump pointed out that if price controls actually worked, he’d be the first to stand behind them. But they simply don’t. In fact, they produce hunger and scarcity, proving that the only inflation-reduction plan around is Democratic misdirection.
