He suggested that the Vice President could flip off her microphone, step out of the convention hall, and make strides to close the border without any new legislation. After all, he managed to secure a safer border without needing Congress to hold his hand.

Trump further emphasized that her administration has presided over one of the weakest borders in U.S. history, characterizing the situation as an invasion. He pointed out that while there is talk about various policies, when it comes to actual results, the record speaks for itself. The former president’s rhetoric revealed a keen observation: talk is cheap, but action is what really counts.
In a classic political face-off, Trump’s rebuttal sheds light on the jarring disconnect between the Democratic narrative and the reality on the ground.
