While the liberal media have been asleep at the wheel, focusing on their anti-American narratives, President Trump has once again taken bold action to protect the nation. This time, the target is Venezuela, a hub for drug trafficking under the watch of its dictator, Nicolás Maduro. There was significant action taken against a drug facility loading ships bound for the U.S. This is the kind of decisive leadership that the left pretends doesn’t exist.
Maduro, who’s well-known for his empty propaganda and delusional statements, is now trying to paint a picture of a powerful, prepared military force. Laughable, considering that his own regime is plagued by corruption and incompetence. Only a real leader like Trump has the guts to call out this farce and act where others have failed. While Trump hits the drug cartels where it hurts, the left is busy finding ways to excuse Maduro’s failures.

It’s ironic how Maduro boasts about a non-existent security and territorial integrity as his country crumbles. His army, touted as a mighty defensive force, can’t even maneuver a tank without crashing into a power pole, sparking a blackout. Yet, here he is, acting as if he can stand against the might of the United States. Imagine the uproar if Trump had done something even half as foolish; the liberal media would be in a frenzy.
Maduro may think he’s keeping the U.S. at bay, but while he grandstands and demands loyalty from his military in cult-like fashion, Trump’s strategies are dismantling his narco-state piece by piece. The reality is that the people of Venezuela are not on Team Maduro. The lower ranks in his military likely see through his charade. Just as many Americans see through the left’s misguided support for oppressive regimes.
The time has come for strong leadership to shine through the murk of political correctness and globalist posturing. Perhaps it’s time we stop talking and start acting with even more resolve. How much longer will we allow a tinpot dictator to endanger our nation? The clock’s ticking, and decisive action is the only solution. Now, isn’t that a refreshing change from the left’s circle of appeasement?
