In the latest polls, it’s clear that Former President Donald Trump is back and better than ever, leading the charge against President Joe Biden. A recent Morning Consult poll conducted between April 5 and 7, 2024, reveals that Trump is edging out Biden among all voters by a solid one-point lead. The numbers don’t lie – 44 percent of voters are standing with Trump, while a measly 43 percent are leaning toward Biden. It’s a real nail-biter, folks!
But wait, the fun doesn’t stop there. Among the survey’s 6,236 registered voters, the breakdown is even more telling. Democrats are clearly struggling to rally the troops, with only 86 percent standing behind Biden, while six percent are switching sides to support Trump. The GOP, on the other hand, is showing strong and united support for Trump, with a whopping 90 percent standing firmly behind their guy. Meanwhile, independent voters seem to be leaning towards Trump, with 36 percent throwing their weight behind the former president.

And what about those loyal repeat voters? Well, well, well – it’s no surprise that a whopping 90 percent of Trump’s 2020 voters are standing by their man. On the flip side, only 83 percent of Biden’s previous supporters are pledging their allegiance to him. It’s clear that Trump’s base remains as solid as ever, while Biden’s support seems to be slipping away.
But wait, there’s more! It seems that Trump’s appeal is gaining ground among the younger crowd. In a recent NPR/PBS Newshour/Marist College national poll from March 25 to 28, 2024, Trump led Biden by a notable two points among Millennials and Generation Z, with 51 percent showing support for the former president. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better for Trump, a Fox News poll from March 22 to 25, 2024, revealed that Trump was leading Biden by a staggering 18 points among voters under 30. It’s clear that Trump’s message is resonating with the next generation of Americans.
With Trump gaining momentum and Biden’s hold on older voters seeming shaky, it’s becoming increasingly clear that the tide may be turning in favor of the former president.
