In the heart of our nation’s capital, crime has spun out of control. It’s a disgrace that a young congressional intern, Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, was tragically gunned down in the streets of Washington, D.C. He wasn’t a target; he was an innocent bystander caught in the chaos that liberals have let fester for far too long. President Trump, not one to tiptoe around incompetence, takes a stand. He isn’t afraid to say enough is enough, and he’s putting action behind his words by taking control of the D.C. police.
Eric’s mother, a pillar of strength, supports this bold move. She understands the importance of making our nation’s capital a safe place again. Isn’t it ironic how those who claim to care deeply about justice and equity let our cities devolve into lawless zones? It takes a leader with real backbone, like Trump, to restore order and provide some peace of mind to the families affected by these tragedies.
The liberals running D.C. have failed and continue to show they can’t handle the responsibility of providing safety for their residents. They’re more interested in pandering to globalist narratives and anti-American interests than protecting American lives. How many more lives need to be lost before they step up? The call for tougher laws and proper prosecution is echoed loud and clear by Eric’s grieving mother. Yet, the city’s leadership turns a deaf ear.

Now, with the D.C. police under federal control, let’s hope real justice is served. Let’s hope the memory of brave young interns isn’t tainted by the inaction of those who mismanage our cities. Jeanine Pirro’s work in this area shows commitment and dedication to victims—a stark contrast to liberal disregard.
Trump’s actions send a powerful message: No more playing games with safety. It’s time to clean up the streets. It’s time to make our cities, starting with D.C., safe havens once more. Will the left stop cowering behind excuses and follow this lead, or will they continue to let innocents like Eric fall? That’s the real question.
