Donald Trump, the former president and 2024 Republican front-runner, didn’t hold back when he gave his take on the Biden administration’s crackdown on Texas’ efforts to secure its border. In a no-holds-barred social media post, Trump lambasted President Biden for what he sees as a blatant attack on the sovereignty and security of the United States. According to Trump, Biden’s approach is nothing short of aiding and abetting a “massive invasion” of illegal immigrants into the country, and he didn’t mince words when he called it a “National Security, Public Safety, and Public Health Catastrophe.”
Trump Calls on States to 'Deploy Their Guards to Texas' Amid Border Showdown With Biden

Trump not only criticized Biden’s handling of the border crisis but also had some words of advice for the 25+ Republican governors who are standing with Texas Governor Greg Abbott in his fight to defend the state’s constitutional right to self-defense. His message? “All willing States should deploy their guards to Texas to prevent the entry of Illegals and to remove them back across the Border.”
The former president emphasized that when he’s back in the Oval Office, he would work closely with Governor Abbott and other border states to “Stop the Invasion, Seal the Border, and Rapidly Begin the Largest Domestic Deportation Operation in History.” So, according to Trump, those illegal immigrants who have been let in by Biden shouldn’t get too comfortable because, as he bluntly put it, “they will be going home.”
In Trump’s view, Texas is doing the right thing by invoking the Invasion Clause of the Constitution to protect its safety, security, and sovereignty, and he’s urging all Americans to support the state’s efforts. It’s clear that Trump isn’t holding back on his stance on immigration and border security, and if he has his way in 2024, there will be some big changes coming to the border.
