Some hand-wringing liberals might clutch their pearls at the idea of our military targeting cartels. They’ll likely raise weak legal questions about military engagement, but let’s get real. We cannot sit idly by as these cartels enrich their coffers with drug money while our neighborhoods suffer the consequences. They’ve exploited our borders, traffic humans alongside their poison, and dared to commit violence on the land of the free.
Now, the U.S. military has the power to end this cartel reign of terror. Obviously, this demands careful strategies, especially near the border. We won’t see indiscriminate bombing raids, despite the left’s inevitable overblown horror stories. Military power means precision; whether it’s taking out sea vessels carrying drugs or special forces targeting cartel leaders, expect surgical strikes—not reckless aggression.
Speaking of complications, there’s always Mexico’s dubious role in fighting these cartels. The corrupt government there has mostly failed—or perhaps chosen not—even to put up a fight against these criminals. Would they dare get in the way of American actions? Or will they finally admit their compromise and step aside as Trump’s plan unfolds? Only time and American resolve will tell, but you can bet liberals will try to shield their globalist allies south of the border.
This situation is messy but necessary. Drug cartels wage war on our people, and the answer is clear—fight back. The left might balk at the idea, but Americans are ready for action. Isn’t it time we prioritized our own citizens’ safety over the sensibilities of those who’d rather do nothing?
