When will America wake up and stand up to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brazen attacks on freedom and democracy? Look at Hong Kong’s hero, Jimmy Lai. This is a man who dared to fight for democracy, and now he’s suffering because of it. Think for a moment: a billionaire who could’ve lived in comfort chose to fight for freedom. The CCP wants to make an example out of him, but America can’t just stand by.
President Trump, a proven defender of freedom, should take charge of this injustice. The CCP needs to learn that the United States won’t bow down to its bullying. Trump knows what it means to fight against unfair attacks—something the Democrats and their media coverage could learn a thing or two from. It’s time for Trump and Congress to exercise their clout and demand Lai’s release.

The liberals often preach about social justice and human rights, but look away when it comes to standing against China. Where are their voices now? It’s easy to throw barbs at your political opponents, but where’s the courage when it comes to facing a real threat? As usual, Democrats show no backbone when confronted with the heavy-handed tactics of authoritarian regimes.
The CCP continues to tighten its grip on Hong Kong, silencing anyone who speaks against it. The world is watching, and America needs to lead the charge. It’s a shame some would rather cozy up to China than support a freedom fighter like Lai. But such are the miserable priorities of those obsessed with globalism and appeasement.
In this fight, who’s really the superpower? Trump has illustrated time and again that America can be strong and principled. Will he and the rest of our leaders rise to the occasion, or will they let the CCP steamroll another voice of freedom? Let’s hope Trump shows the world what true leadership looks like, or will we let the CCP redefine what justice means?
