The border crisis is back in focus, thanks to a bold move being considered by the Trump administration. After inheriting a tangled mess from Joe Biden, Trump is determined to clean it up. In just a few months, he’s already making progress, tightening the border, increasing deportations, and undoing the damage Biden left behind. Now, there’s talk of a move so bold it could leave leftists scrambling—suspending habeas corpus for illegal aliens. Oh, how the left will howl.
Forget for a moment the chaos liberal policies have caused at the border. Remember that the Constitution, which leftists pretend to care about, allows for the suspension of habeas corpus in times of invasion. It’s not just about illegal immigration; it’s about protecting national sovereignty. Yet, the usual suspects in the judicial system—biased, activist judges—love to throw wrenches into the gears of immigration enforcement.

One key piece of legislation might shock even politically-savvy readers. Congress, going way back, curtailed judicial overreach with the Immigration and Nationality Act. But do radical judges care about Congress? It looks like they’ve declared war on the legislative branch too. It’s truly an epic clash, with Trump on one side and rogue judges on the other. Don’t forget these judges are the same ones liberals lionize when it suits them.
And let’s talk about Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The legislation Congress passed made it crystal clear that courts have no jurisdiction over certain executive decisions. But some judges just couldn’t help themselves, violating these statutes with abandon. They jump at any chance to block the executive branch, attacking decisions that protect America’s integrity and sovereignty.
With Trump seriously considering suspending habeas corpus, a starburst of liberal outrage is imminent. Who knows, maybe they’ll actually realize that chaos at the border is unsustainable. Or perhaps they’ll stick to their tired script, crying out about rights while ignoring the rights of American citizens. Will Democrats ever defend national sovereignty, or will they stay locked in their anti-American bias?
