The Biden administration’s disastrous decision to flood America with tens of thousands of Afghan migrants was nothing short of reckless. Now, finally, a semblance of sanity is returning to immigration policy as Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security moves to end Biden’s “temporary” amnesty for Afghans who were irresponsibly dumped onto our soil. This isn’t just about rolling back a policy; it’s about reasserting the rule of law, protecting American safety, and restoring the integrity of our immigration system after the calamity Biden unleashed.
Biden’s bungled Afghan evacuation was the largest resettlement in U.S. history—but it was far from heroic. Instead, it was a catastrophic admission of liberal incompetence and globalist-driven open-border madness. Nearly 100,000 Afghans arrived practically unvetted, many of whom slipped through without proper checks. The administration then gave 75,000 of these migrants a “temporary protected status” to allow them to stay and work here indefinitely. This put American communities on edge and put national security at massive risk. Now, Trump’s DHS under Kristi Noem is putting the brakes on this reckless policy, signaling that “temporary” really means temporary.
It’s no surprise that fraud, abuse, and security threats exploded under Biden’s welcome mat. Law enforcement has repeatedly uncovered Afghans on watch lists, including known or suspected terrorists, among those resettled here. One man arrested after plotting an ISIS-linked election-day attack was admitted thanks to Biden’s open doors. Others linked to deadly bomb attacks on American troops washed into the country without proper screening, a reality acknowledged in official Department of Defense reports. It’s horrifying that the administration knowingly imported people flagged as serious threats—then refused to disclose how many were barred or on federal terror lists.

What’s worse, many of these individuals have vanished into America’s neighborhoods, where tracking them has become a nightmare for authorities. Internal whistleblowers revealed how border and immigration officials were pressured to ignore vetting procedures, prioritizing political correctness and virtue signaling over real safety. This was a betrayal of the American people. Biden’s politicization of immigration turned a national security crisis into a full-blown disaster. It’s about time the federal government started prioritizing Americans over globalist refugee fantasies.
Ending this Afghan TPS program isn’t just a policy correction—it’s a warning to all who think America’s borders are open playgrounds to be exploited. President Trump’s DHS is reclaiming control and signaling that chaotic amnesties will no longer be tolerated. If Biden wants to play immigration games, it’s the American people who pay the price, in lost jobs, strained resources, and threatened lives.
