What’s truly baffling is the liberal hypocrisy here. When Biden was considering Meredith, nobody on the left complained. Now that Trump is stepping up, they suddenly have a problem. It’s almost as if their issue isn’t the man but the fact that it’s Trump making the decision. Seems like they’re more interested in playing partisan games than in the integrity of our judicial system.
The reality is, Trump isn’t afraid to make bold choices, even if it stirs the pot. And why should he be? If the left had its way, they’d flood the courts with activist judges who care more about international opinion than American law. Thankfully, Trump’s not kowtowing to those anti-American interests. Maybe it’s time we ask: If the opposition was almost on board with Meredith before, what’s the real problem now? Could it be that they fear his commitment to the rule of law?
