President Trump’s Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins declared a “new day” for America’s economy this week. She slammed foreign nations for unfairly targeting U.S. farmers and ranchers while praising Trump’s tough tariffs to protect American workers. Rollins called global trade rules a “hostage situation” that’s strangled our economy for decades.
The Trump administration is cracking down on countries like Argentina and the UK for blocking American beef exports. “They treat our products like garbage while flooding our markets with their goods,” Rollins told Breitbart News. She vowed to use every tool available to force fair deals, including aggressive tariffs that put America’s interests first.
Rollins said global elites rigged the system against hardworking families. “For too long, D.C. politicians let China and Europe walk all over us,” she charged. The America First agenda flips the script by treating tariffs as weapons to blast open foreign markets. “We’re done being patsies,” she declared.
Farmers and factory workers are finally getting a voice in trade deals under Trump. Rollins praised the president for listening to rural communities ignored by past administrations. “They called us protectionists – we call it patriotism,” she said. U.S. agriculture exports have surged since Trump took office, creating jobs in small towns.
The secretary blasted Biden’s failed policies that let China steal American technology and jobs. “Weak leadership got us here,” Rollins said. She credited Trump’s tough stance with reviving manufacturing and forcing Europe to renegotiate lopsided deals. “Nobody bullies America when President Trump’s in charge,” she added.
Rollins promised more wins for coal miners, loggers, and energy workers sidelined by radical environmentalists. “We’re unleashing American resources again,” she said. The administration is cutting regulations that strangled farms and factories while pushing energy independence through fossil fuels.
The America First movement has united working-class voters across race and geography, Rollins argued. “Black, white, Hispanic – we all want good jobs and safe communities,” she said. She accused Democrats of dividing the country while Trump delivers results. “Real leaders build up farmers, not tear down statues,” she quipped.
Rollins closed with a warning to nations resisting fair trade: “The days of ripping off America are over.” She pledged to fight until every farmer can compete globally without being shackled by foreign rules. “This is just the beginning,” Rollins vowed. “President Trump’s revolution marches on.”
