Tucker Carlson Accused of Slandering US Troops as Ted Cruz Erupts Over Shocking Iran Comments

When did it become popular in America to outright slander our own military, as if it wins you points with the ruling class? That’s the direction Tucker Carlson just took with his most recent attacks—aiming not at the failed policies of the Biden administration or the weak-kneed appeasement from the left, but at brave U.S. troops themselves. He threw out a wild accusation, suggesting that American forces would somehow victimize Iranian women if the United States “forced Iran into unconditional surrender.” Where’s this garbage even coming from? This is the kind of anti-American trash you’d expect from Tehran’s own propaganda department—or CNN.

Senator Ted Cruz isn’t having it, and thank God for that. He tore into these claims as the raging nonsense they are. America’s military men and women risk their lives daily to defend innocent people. That’s the truth liberals never want to admit. Instead, guys like Carlson—once seen as a straight shooter—are starting to sound more like apologists for rogue regimes than defenders of American values.

Carlson’s latest rants follow a pattern of undermining America’s role on the world stage, while cozying up to the worst actors in the Middle East. He’s given soft interviews to Iranian officials, giving them time to whine about “human rights” and nuclear weapons, all without challenging their lies. The globalist press eats it up, of course, because it gives them ammo to deride America’s military power and push for weakness and “diplomacy” with terrorists.

Let’s be absolutely clear: The United States has never used rape or atrocities as a tool of warfare. That’s the stuff of enemies—ISIS, the Taliban, the mullahs in Iran themselves. Our troops have liberated more people from tyranny than any force in history. The only people who spin narratives about American soldiers being monsters are our enemies overseas and their ideological twins in the woke media at home. Now, sadly, even a once-respected conservative commentator is borrowing from their playbook.

Maybe this is what happens when certain right-wing voices decide the best way to own the establishment is to bash their own country, its defenders, and its allies. But if defending Iran’s theocracy and smearing American heroes is “populism,” count real conservatives out. At this point, does the left even need their anti-American mouthpieces anymore, when some on our own side are happy to do the job?
