It’s always surprising when supposed conservatives decide to turn on each other. This Easter, Tucker Carlson, who claims to be a voice for populists, decided to aim at President Trump. Instead of focusing on real threats facing America, Tucker went after Trump for daring to call out radical Islam and sending a clear warning to Iran. Apparently, for some, globalist sensitivities matter more than standing up for American safety.
Let’s be honest—Trump was doing what every president SHOULD do: He was warning Iran in no uncertain terms that if they threatened us, there would be consequences. Unlike the weak-kneed Democrats who bow before every foreign adversary, Trump doesn’t mince words. And that seems to bother not just the left, but now even some supposed voices on the right.

Tucker’s outrage sounds more like something cooked up in a CNN backroom than something said by a true conservative. Since when do conservatives make it their business to police “offense” against Islam or any other ideology? Has Tucker forgotten about Christians being mocked, canceled, and silenced in their own country? Where’s the outrage when Biden’s government tramples the First Amendment? Where’s the condemnation when American values get thrown under the bus for woke appeasement?
Instead of standing with the American people and backing up a president who actually gets things done, some would rather play the progressive virtue-signaling game. They forget that Trump’s approach—calling out evil where he sees it and refusing to cower—kept us safe, put America first, and scared our enemies. The left coddles Islamic dictators, but Trump knows that weakness invites attack.
Conservatives don’t need scolding for “offending” those who openly threaten our way of life. They need leaders who put the safety and values of Americans above the feelings of those who hate us. Liberals and their globalist friends may cry foul, but true patriots know the stakes. Maybe instead of parroting liberal talking points, Tucker should remember which side he’s supposed to be on. Since when do we care more about not offending Iran than protecting America?
