Tucker Rips Media for Ignoring Chauvin’s ‘Scapegoat’ Saga

In a recent broadcast, Tucker Carlson, a prominent figure in conservative news, didn’t mince words when he addressed the imprisonment of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. This guy sees Chauvin as a scapegoat, insisting that he’s getting the short end of the stick for a crime he didn’t commit. Chauvin, who’s behind bars for George Floyd’s death, is currently serving a 21-year sentence in federal prison.

During the segment, Carlson went all in, bringing up the medical examiner’s report on George Floyd. He suggested that maybe Floyd’s death wasn’t solely caused by Chauvin’s actions, pointing to high levels of fentanyl in Floyd’s system. According to Carlson, these details have been brushed off by the mainstream media and the public.

And as if serving time isn’t rough enough, Chauvin recently found himself in hot water at the clink. On Black Friday, he got attacked by a fellow inmate. This guy went at Chauvin with a shiv a whopping 22 times in the prison’s law library. Ouch! The attacker, a 52-year-old named John Turscak, apparently has ties to the Mexican Mafia gang. He mentioned that the attack was premeditated, driven by Chauvin’s notoriety as the officer involved in George Floyd’s death.

Chauvin’s lawyer, Gregory Erickson, dropped by Carlson’s show to spill the tea on what went down behind bars. He voiced concern about how the prison handled the attack and the lack of updates following the incident. Sounds like the prison dropped the ball on keeping Chauvin’s peeps in the loop. Even Chauvin’s mom found out through the news rather than from the prison officials. Talk about dropping the ball!

As for Turscak, he’s now facing charges out the wazoo, including assault with intent to commit murder and assault causing serious bodily harm. This dude’s got a laundry list of legal issues and has a history of representing himself in court. Following the stabbing, he got shipped off to a nearby federal penitentiary in Tucson.

Chauvin’s mom, Carolyn Pawlenty, was rightly ticked off that she wasn’t notified about the attack. She’s worried sick about her son’s condition and rightly so. I mean, c’mon, the poor lady was pacing a path in her living room and kitchen all night. Can’t imagine the stress she’s dealing with, especially since even Chauvin’s attorney hasn’t heard a peep from the Bureau of Prisons. Tough times, folks.

Life-saving measures were thankfully performed by the prison staff, and Chauvin is listed as “stable” after the whole shiv showdown. But even with this chaos, the Supreme Court shut down Chauvin’s appeal, citing biased jury concerns. Looks like Chauvin’s in for a wild ride behind bars.
