A beautiful young Ukrainian refugee is dead because Democrats care more about criminals than innocent people. Iryna Zarutska came to America seeking the freedom and safety her war-torn homeland could not provide. Instead, she found death at the hands of a repeat violent offender who should have been locked up long ago.
On August 22nd, Zarutska was riding a Charlotte transit train when career criminal Decarlos Brown Jr. pulled out a knife and murdered her in cold blood. The attack was completely random and unprovoked. Zarutska was just sitting there wearing headphones, minding her own business like any hardworking American should be able to do.
Brown had a long history of violent crimes and mental health problems, yet liberal policies kept him on the streets. This dangerous predator was free to roam public transportation and terrorize innocent passengers. Every warning sign was there, but soft-on-crime Democrats ignored them all.
President Trump is absolutely right to call out these failed policies that put criminals first. Attorney General Pam Bondi hit the nail on the head when she said this murder was the direct result of Democrats choosing thugs over victims. This tragedy was completely preventable if we had leaders with backbone.
Zarutska dreamed of becoming a veterinary assistant and loved caring for animals in her neighborhood. She was a gifted artist who brought joy to everyone she met with her radiant smile. This beautiful soul deserved to live the American dream, not die because of liberal weakness.
The White House is demanding justice and maximum penalties for this monster. Unlike Democrats who coddle criminals, Trump’s team wants Brown to never see daylight again as a free man. This is exactly the tough-on-crime leadership America needs.
Democratic-run cities have become war zones where law-abiding citizens live in fear. Charlotte failed to protect Zarutska just like liberal cities across America fail their people every single day. These politicians have blood on their hands.
President Trump promises to make our cities safe again, just like he cleaned up crime in Washington DC. Americans deserve leaders who will lock up dangerous criminals instead of making excuses for them. It is time to put America first and criminals last.
