This action came in response to a brutal attack that tragically claimed the lives of two American service members and their interpreter in Palmyra. It’s not often that you see such alignment, but apparently, they are just as eager to see ISIS eradicated from their territory. Since the attack, Syrian security forces have been active participants, carrying out operations that led to the death or detainment of numerous ISIS-affiliated individuals. The United States has provided support, creating a rare instance of collaboration.
