Senator Chris Van Hollen had a meltdown during a heated Homeland Security hearing this week. Trump’s tough-as-nails DHS Secretary Kristi Noem handed him a brutal lesson on border security – and he couldn’t handle the truth.
Van Hollen turned red and shouted as Noem exposed his reckless defense of illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia. The so-called “wrongfully deported Maryland man” was actually a suspected MS-13 affiliate booted by Trump’s America-First policies. Noem didn’t blink while listing Garcia’s gang ties and criminal history.
This isn’t Van Hollen’s first immigration embarrassment. Remember “Margaritagate”? The senator got caught sipping cocktails with Garcia in El Salvador while pretending to care about “justice.” Salvadoran officials had to expose his phony photo-op – empty glasses staged by his own team.
Noem hammered Van Hollen with facts: Garcia wore gang colors, flashed MS-13 tattoos, and had multiple deportations. The White House called out fake news lies about this predator, rewriting a New York Times headline to show the truth. Noem asked why Democrats always side with criminals over citizens.
Van Hollen spluttered about “human rights” and “errors.” But Noem shut him down: “Your open borders got Americans killed.” She reminded him how Garcia’s gang butchered innocent teens in Maryland. While Van Hollen drinks margaritas with thugs, ICE heroes are removing 3,000 gang members this year alone.
The socialist senator tried crying about “family separation.” Noem fired back: “We separate criminals from victims. Maybe try it.” She praised Trump’s wall construction and reminded Van Hollen that deportations prevent future Kate Steinle tragedies.
Van Hollen’s tantrum shows how desperate Democrats are to hide Biden’s border disaster. They want more caravans, more fentanyl, more attacks on police. Noem’s stone-cold professionalism exposed their radical open-borders agenda for the bloodstained failure it is.
Real Americans know the truth. Trump and Noem keep families safe by deporting gang invaders. Van Hollen’s cocktail parties with MS-13 prove Democrats care more about illegal votes than American lives. November can’t come soon enough to dump these open-border traitors.
