Vice President JD Vance stood with thousands of Americans at the March for Life and made plain what every patriot in attendance already knows: the legal victory overturning Roe was only the beginning. He urged conservatives to move from courtroom fights to changing hearts and building a genuine culture of life in every town, parish, and kitchen table across this country.
Vance was crystal clear that the next phase is persuasion, not pleading with judges — “we’re not trying to argue to the Supreme Court anymore,” he told the crowd, and he challenged us to win souls and minds. That is the honest, long-term strategy conservative activists have been waiting for: faithful, patient, and relentless civic engagement to restore a culture that cherishes children and family.
He didn’t stop at rhetoric. Vance put a pro-natalist, pro-family muscle behind the message — declaring plainly that he wants “more babies in the United States of America” and that government should make it easier to raise children. This is real conservatism: not empty platitudes but concrete priorities to help young families find work, buy homes, and feel secure bringing children into the world.
The administration’s actions — from pardons for persecuted pro-life activists to policy moves meant to protect life at the federal level — show this isn’t rhetoric alone but a coordinated effort to back up our values. Conservatives should cheer leaders who pair moral clarity with policy that strengthens families, while also demanding accountability when promises wobble.
Contrast that with the cultural left, which has spent decades treating family and faith as obstacles to an atomized, materialistic society. Our side must point out, loudly and proudly, that life is a blessing and that government should remove barriers to family formation — not subsidize decay. Recent steps to ban taxpayer-funded use of fetal tissue from elective abortions and to prioritize alternative research methods reflect a return to common-sense priorities that respect human dignity.
Now is the time for every conservative institution — churches, schools, businesses, and local governments — to stand up and make having children affordable and desirable again. We must flood communities with support networks, parental resources, and the cultural affirmation that raising the next generation is the highest calling and the truest service to country.
Patriots, this is our moment to translate a legal win into a moral victory that will echo for generations. Roll up your sleeves, speak with love and conviction, and let’s build a nation where life is celebrated, families flourish, and America’s future is secure.
