In a spectacular twist, these disco legends have been chosen to perform at the Turning Point USA’s Inaugural-Eve Ball in honor of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. After all, who wouldn’t want to kick off a celebration of American leadership with a little dance and a whole lot of nostalgia?
During the 2024 presidential campaign, the Village People’s catchy tune “Y.M.C.A.” transformed into a viral sensation, inspiring countless “Trump dances” across TikTok. It seems that as Trump rallies rocked, so did the rhythm of America.
