In a stunning display of disrespect, the White House failed to extend an invitation to National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd for President Biden’s upcoming border visit. When questioned about this glaring omission during a press conference, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was left fumbling for a response, ultimately failing to provide a satisfactory answer.

Meanwhile, in a bold move to showcase the stark contrast between his successful border security policies and Biden’s abject failure in that arena, former President Donald Trump announced his own visit to Eagle Pass, Texas, on the same day as Biden’s trip to Brownsville, Texas. Judd, who had received an invitation from Trump, found himself snubbed by the current administration, despite previously endorsing a pro-migration and foreign aid bill supported by Biden.
Judd, despite his previous support, remains a vocal critic of Biden, going so far as to call for the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. His scathing rebuke of the president’s lack of action on border security on a recent Fox News appearance highlighted the gross negligence of the current administration.
The National Border Patrol Council President argued that Biden had ample time to address the border crisis but only showed interest in doing so when it became politically advantageous for him. Judd asserted that Biden could effectively halt the migrant influx with the powers already at his disposal if he truly desired to do so.
As for Trump’s invitation to Judd, Jean-Pierre sidestepped the question, refusing to address the matter directly. The inexcusable snub of a key figure in the border security realm only serves to further underscore the Biden administration’s mishandling of this critical issue, leaving many to question their commitment to effectively addressing the border crisis.
In yet another disappointing display of incompetence and lack of accountability, the White House’s failure to extend an invitation to Judd speaks volumes about their disregard for those on the front lines of our nation’s border security efforts.
