Barack Obama just can’t resist diving back into the political arena, can he? While most former presidents have the grace to step aside, Obama insists on staying in the spotlight, dispensing advice to Democrats as if he’s still calling the shots. Now, he’s telling them to “toughen up.” But let’s get real—the Democrats wouldn’t know tough if it slapped them in the face.
Obama seems to think the Democratic Party can still be saved by trying out some tough love. What a joke. If you look at the current lineup of Democratic movers and shakers, you’ll find that they’re more interested in navel-gazing than in standing firm on anything that truly matters to Americans. They’re lost in a fantasy, drifting so far left that they’re leaving sanity behind in the dust. Yet Obama, instead of giving them a much-needed wake-up call, is just encouraging them to dig their heels in on their already wacky agenda.

He’s nudging them to stand up for their so-called values. But where are those values leading America? Down a path of identity politics and fixation on pronouns while ignoring real issues. The Democrats have traded the wisdom of bygone statesmen for a circus of social justice warriors who seem more concerned with virtue signaling than addressing the struggles of everyday Americans.
Obama might want to whip the Democrats into shape, but the hard truth is, they’re the architects of their own decline. Rather than confronting the genuine problems facing this country, like border security and economic stability, they’re busy indulging in absurd debates over who can dye their hair the craziest color. It would be laughable if it weren’t so tragic.
If the Democrats want to regain any semblance of credibility, they need more than a pep talk. They need a complete reboot—a return to policies that actually resonate with American families. But with Obama at the helm of influence, they’re unlikely to stop their march towards irrelevance. When will they learn that advice from their liberal kingpin won’t save them from their own incompetence?
