TikTok’s playbook of deception continues, and this time they’re trying to brush off their rampant anti-Semitism problem by hiring a so-called “hate speech manager.” But does anyone really believe that a social media app with shadowy ties to the Chinese Communist Party will suddenly clean up its act just because they’ve added another bureaucratic layer to their PR defenses? Doubtful.
The Chinese-owned app has been in hot water stateside for quite some time. Add to that their toxic algorithm, which has not only endangered teenagers but has also become a cesspool for anti-Semitic filth. Yet, American liberals still cry “xenophobia” when there’s talk of banning it. Why is it so hard for the left to admit that sometimes America’s interests and safety should come before global appeasement?
The real hypocrisy here is how anti-Semitism is loudly ignored when it clashes with the liberal agenda. TikTok hiring someone with connections to the current administration might seem like eyewash to show they’re serious about tackling the issue. However, silence from certain quarters about world leaders denying the Holocaust remains deafening. It’s easier for them to close one eye than risk political fallout.

Isn’t it convenient that this rampant online hate coincides with recent surges in global anti-Semitism? That’s no accident, it’s the consequence of letting platforms like TikTok operate unchecked under a veil of political correctness. In a world where Israel’s right to exist is perpetually questioned, the same people decrying any move against TikTok as ethnocentric, turn a blind eye to open hate towards Jews.
Not much changes unless brave, principled leaders decide it’s time to pull the plug on TikTok’s North American chapter. Bringing in a so-called expert will not fix the deep-seated issues when the whole platform is essentially a funnel for propaganda. The question is, will America wake up and realize what—or who—the real threats are before it’s too late?
