In the latest episode of “The Squad Strikes Back”, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also known as AOC, swooped in to defend her comrade in arms, Representative Ilhan Omar, who was under fire for her controversial remarks regarding the Israel-Gaza conflict. AOC, the fiery New York Democrat, did not hold back, criticizing CNN for allowing conservative voices to be heard. AOC made it clear that in her book, conservative opinions are a big no-no.

On the other side of the aisle, it seems like political analyst Scott Jennings rubbed some of the Squad members the wrong way with his comments about Rep. Omar. AOC and her crew were quick to pounce on what they perceived as Islamophobia, a favorite buzzword in their arsenal. According to AOC, blatant Islamophobia cannot go unchallenged, and anyone who dares to question the Squad’s narrative must be swiftly dealt with.
In a surprising turn of events, it was Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene who called for a censure of Rep. Omar, much to the dismay of AOC and her Squad. The tension between the progressive wing of the Democratic party and President Biden continues to simmer as the conflict in the Middle East rages on. AOC and her allies are not pleased with Biden’s support for Israel and are making their dissatisfaction known.
The divide between the left and the center of the Democratic party is widening, with primary elections revealing cracks in the support for President Biden. The Squad’s influence is growing, and they are not afraid to go toe-to-toe with anyone who dares to challenge their worldview. Love them or hate them, the Squad is here to stay, and they are not backing down anytime soon.
