What seems to be the latest episode in the ongoing saga of the left’s obsession with former President Trump unfolded at his International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. While the former commander-in-chief was busy perfecting his swing, some scoundrel decided to provide an unexpected twist by waving around what was reportedly a firearm. How typical of a Saturday on the greens, right?
The Secret Service, ever vigilant even while Trump is trying to enjoy a few holes, noticed a suspicious character potentially brandishing a weapon. One can only imagine the agents exchanging glances and realizing this wasn’t just another weekend golfer trying to break par. Almost instantly, shots rang out from an agent who, understandably, didn’t want Trump’s leisurely afternoon turned into a scene out of a bad action movie.

Speculation swirled about whether the suspicious individual was on the course or hanging around the perimeter, but like so many details surrounding potential threats to Trump, clarity flew out the window. What is known, however, is that local police swooped in and took the man into custody, proving that in Palm Beach, just like anywhere else, engaging in questionable behavior when the Secret Service is nearby has consequences.
Interestingly, even as two parties were initially thought to be firing at each other, later reports indicated that the Secret Service agent was the lone shooter. It’s worth noting that this incident might not have been directly linked to Trump. After all, he wasn’t even scheduled to be playing, a fact that should make the conspiracy theorists take a step back and reconsider. It seems hard to believe that someone would take such risks at the golf course of one of the most famous presidents in modern history without it being a clear target.
