Ben Stiller Endorses Kamala Harris for 2024 with Cringe Identity Politics

Washed-up actor Ben Stiller recently threw his support behind the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, and with that came a parade of cringe-worthy remarks that only Hollywood could produce. During an online event called “Comics for Kamala,” hosted by the ever-mundane comedian Paul Mercurio, Stiller practically turned his campaign contribution into a Shakespearean soliloquy, declaring that every white Jewish man secretly wishes he were Black. Not exactly what someone would expect while donating a cool $150,000, but then again, what else can you expect from Tinseltown?

Stiller’s awkward admission was a desperate attempt to keep the spotlight on Harris as he gushed about her being a historical candidate. He conveniently glossed over questions about her actual accomplishments and instead emphasized her identity, remarking that she is “Indian, she’s Black, she’s everything.” The real punchline? He seemed to think that being “everything” means she deserves a free pass, completely ignoring the glaring fact that her selection was all about checking the right boxes. Stiller was also quick to dodge any conversations around Kamala’s policies or her record—after all, who needs substance when you’ve got a carefully curated identity?

Amidst the bizarre attempts to justify his support, Stiller appeared to overlook a rather significant detail: Kamala Harris has not exactly been hailed for her affection toward the Jewish community. In fact, her political ties bring forth some questionable associations that—even a casual observer might note—could inspire a slightly more cautious approach from someone of Stiller’s background. Maybe he missed that memo while rehearsing his unsolicited racial wish.

And of course, the identity politics didn’t stop there. Commentary on social media made it abundantly clear that viewers were left scratching their heads. One can’t help but wonder if Stiller’s support is merely a manifestation of Hollywood’s collective disillusionment. It’s reminiscent of the last time the Democrats rolled out a candidate based on identity rather than capability, prompting voters to embarrassingly defend their past choices while bearing the consequences. Stiller’s endorsement plays right into that narrative, suggesting that voters should prioritize race over real skill—something conservatives have long critiqued.

With friendly faces like Stiller pushing for votes, the Democratic party seems to be doubling down on identity politics, turning every election into a carnival of labels. This episode raises an important question: How far will Hollywood go to shove identity politics down America’s throat? If Ben Stiller’s recent antics are any indication, the answer seems to be “farther than his acting career ever took him.”
