In a recent visit to a Colorado manufacturing plant, President Joe Biden once again startled the nation with an utterly bizarre statement. It seems like making wild remarks has become a common theme during his presidency.
During his visit to CS Wind, the largest wind tower manufacturer in the world, Biden made a puzzling comment while chatting with factory workers. He said, “My Marine carries that, and has the code to blow up the world,” followed by a seemingly flippant “Nuclear weapons” to perhaps clarify his statement.

This kind of casual reference to the “nuclear football,” the briefcase containing codes for a presidential nuclear attack, is highly irregular. The football is used by the President to authorize a nuclear attack while away from fixed command centers, such as the White House Situation Room. It serves as a critical communication and command hub in the event of a national emergency, particularly a nuclear war.
The fact that the President acknowledged the existence of the nuclear football in such a casual setting has raised eyebrows and prompted concern among many.
