The left continues to trot out the tired old claim that former President Donald Trump was running a fascist regime, a narrative that has been around since the early days of his political career. They can’t seem to let go of their obsession, even though Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration and efforts to uphold law and order were clear indications of a strong leader, not a fascist.
Now, with the possibility of a Trump comeback in 2024 looming over their heads, the Biden camp is shamelessly playing the Hitler card. Yes, you heard that right. President Joe Biden and his cronies are shamelessly likening Trump to Adolf Hitler, citing similarities in their statements. It’s a desperate attempt to rally their base and sway suburban voters who were put off by Trump’s bold rhetoric.
They’ve taken issue with Trump’s pledge to “root out” political opponents and his tough stance on immigration, comparing it to Hitler’s rhetoric. Biden’s team has gone as far as claiming that Trump “parroted Adolf Hitler, praised Kim Jong Un, and quoted Vladimir Putin.”
Biden himself even got in on the act, shamelessly claiming that Trump’s language echoed that of Nazi Germany in the ’30s. It’s a sad attempt to distract from his own lackluster record and low approval ratings, particularly on the economy and immigration.
The dictator comparisons have polarized voters. While some hardcore Trump supporters are unfazed and even more enthusiastic about their support, others, including some Republicans, have voiced their discomfort with his choice of words. It’s clear that the Democrats are resorting to extreme measures because they lack confidence in their ability to win on the real issues facing Americans.
These outlandish comparisons won’t fool the American people. It’s clear that the Biden camp is grasping at straws, hoping to divert attention from its own failings. But the voters are smarter than that. Let’s hope they see through the smoke and mirrors and demand real solutions, not baseless fear-mongering.
