President Joe Biden held a press conference to discuss the ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel. During his address, Biden appeared to struggle with his speech, frequently pausing and staring blankly before continuing his thoughts. He emphasized the tragic impact of the violence and shared a personal reflection on the importance of understanding during difficult times. However, it’s important to note that Biden’s administration has faced criticism for avoiding questions from the press and the public, so his claim of always answering all inquiries is far from accurate.

In a moment of embarrassment, Biden later backtracked on his earlier statement that suggested U.S. intelligence believed Islamic Jihad was responsible for the bombing of a parking lot near a Christian hospital in Gaza. He clarified that he was not implying Hamas deliberately carried out the attack, adding, “They gotta learn how to shoot straight.” Initially, Biden had pointed fingers at the Palestinians or Hamas, but U.S. intelligence assessments, based on satellite data and communications, seemingly attributed the explosion to Islamic Jihad. It’s worth noting that certain media sources echoed Hamas’s claim that Israel was behind the incident, causing diplomatic complications for Biden.
As a result of the conflicting reports and propaganda from Hamas, Biden had to cancel scheduled meetings with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, King Abdullah II of Jordan, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Additionally, there are no credible reports of American hostages being released following Biden’s visit to Israel. Nevertheless, Biden announced a $100 million aid package for the Palestinians, despite reports of Hamas’s illicit acquisition of relief resources.
Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, a member of the Squad, threatened Biden for attributing blame to “the other team” in reference to the hospital bombing. This entire situation raises concerns about Biden’s competence as a leader during challenging times.
