The news that President Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, has sent shockwaves through the Democratic Party, leaving many scrambling to make sense of it all. Maybe he thinks throwing out a cheeky slogan about American identity is sufficient to deflect attention from allegations of nepotism and corruption? Quite the strategy!
As Biden crack jokes in Angola, he announced a whopping $1 billion in humanitarian aid for African nations, presumably to repair homes damaged by natural disasters. While giving away taxpayer dollars to those abroad, the president barely manages to mask the glaring hypocrisy of neglecting his own. Residents in North Carolina, still reeling from the devastation of Hurricane Helene, have been watching with a mix of disbelief and frustration as the White House prioritizes foreign aid while their own citizens are left to fend for themselves. FEMA’s struggles to adequately support American disaster victims, especially if they happen to display a Trump sign, have only added fuel to the fire of discontent.
