Once again, President Joe Biden is at it with his wealth redistribution schemes. This time, he’s targeting those darn wealthy degree holders and their student loan debt. And who will foot the bill for this brilliant plan? You guessed it, the hardworking American taxpayers who probably never even had the chance to go to college themselves.

In a statement released on Tuesday morning, Biden said, “Every American deserves the opportunity to pursue a college education without the burden of unmanageable student loan debt.” Well, that’s a noble sentiment, but it’s not fair to expect those who didn’t go to college to pay for the mistakes of those who did.

The new plan, called the SAVE Plan (which stands for Socialist And Viciously Expensive, if you ask me), is all about income-based repayment. Basically, these wealthy degree holders will only have to pay back their loans based on how much money they make. So if they’re rolling in the dough, they’ll be paying a pretty penny. But if they’re struggling to make ends meet, they can get away with paying next to nothing. Talk about rewarding laziness and punishing success!
According to Fox Business, this plan is going to cost taxpayers a whopping $276 billion. That’s a whole lot of money that could be going towards things that actually benefit the American people, like infrastructure or tax cuts. But no, instead we’re bailing out these privileged folks and ignoring a recent Supreme Court ruling on the issue. It’s like Biden thinks he’s above the law or something.
Folks, this is just another example of Biden’s big government agenda. He wants to control every aspect of our lives, and now he’s even trying to control how much we have to pay for someone else’s education. It’s time for the American people to wake up and realize that this man is leading us down a dangerous path of socialism and dependency. We need to stand up for individual responsibility and fiscal conservatism before it’s too late.
