In yet another instance of his weak-kneed leadership, Joe Biden is once again failing to stand up for our ally, Israel. Despite the clear and present danger posed by Iran’s aggressive actions, the so-called “advice for restraint” from the Biden administration is laughably timid. It’s no secret that Iran has been a thorn in the side of freedom-loving nations for years, and the fear of Israeli retaliation is well-founded.

Let’s be clear: Israel has every right to defend itself against the constant threat of Iran’s belligerent behavior. The Biden administration’s feeble attempts to appease Iran demonstrate a shocking lack of understanding of the realpolitik in the Middle East. Rather than calling for restraint, the United States should be standing firmly with Israel and supporting its right to take whatever measures are necessary to ensure its security.
It’s time for President Biden to show some backbone and stand up to the rogue regime in Tehran. Israel’s retaliation against Iran is not a matter of if, but when, and it’s crucial that the United States be on the right side of history. The safety and security of our ally should be paramount, and it’s high time the Biden administration realized that.
