Biden’s Climate Crusade Targets Everyday Home Item Next!

The Biden administration just keeps finding new ways to make conservatives roll their eyes and shake their heads. After trying to ban gas stoves and implementing new federal vehicle efficiency standards that are sure to drive up costs, now they’re coming after ceiling fans. Seriously, can’t they just let us enjoy a little breeze in peace?

Republicans in the House of Representatives are not happy about this latest proposal. They’re concerned about how it will impact small businesses across America. In a letter to Secretary Jennifer Granholm and the Department of Energy, members of the House Small Business Committee explained that this rule could put between 10 and 30 percent of small business ceiling fan manufacturers out of business. Do they even care about the little guy? It doesn’t seem like it.

The committee is demanding answers from the Department of Energy. They want to know if small businesses will have any alternatives to comply with the new rule. Will they have to abandon certain product lines or completely redesign their products? And most importantly, how much is this going to cost small businesses, like restaurants, who need to purchase new ceiling fans that meet these updated standards?

The House Small Business Committee has given Secretary Granholm until August 30 to respond. Let’s hope she takes their concerns seriously and doesn’t just brush them off like the Biden administration has done with so many other issues. But hey, if they keep this up, maybe they’ll start targeting toasters next. Can’t wait for that.
