The Biden White House is at it again, folks! This time, they’re playing the ultimate game of exclusion by leaving out a bunch of reporters from their Christmas shindigs. Yup, you heard that right, the media just can’t catch a break from the cold shoulder of the Biden administration. The poor party planners ‘forgot’ to send out invites to the press corps for the second year in a row! Are these journalists being punished for doing their job and covering President Biden? It sure seems like it!

The journos from outlets like The Post, who have been diligently reporting on Biden’s questionable connections to his family’s overseas business dealings, and others known for asking the tough questions, were left out in the cold. It’s like getting excluded from the birthday party of the year, but with way more champagne and shellfish involved. And it’s not just the conservative-leaning outlets getting snubbed either. Some of the left-leaning press peeps are feeling the burn too. It’s like a high school popularity contest, except the cool kids are the White House officials and the losers are, well, everyone else.
According to some of the spurned reporters, the whole ‘pay-to-play’ system is in full swing. If you want to rub elbows with the prez and his pals, you better be ready to cough up some flattering ‘fluff pieces’ or risk being put in the White House’s timeout corner. And if you dare to report something that doesn’t align with the admin’s agenda, you can kiss your access goodbye. It’s like dealing with a toddler who didn’t get their way, except this toddler is in charge of the most powerful country in the world.
But it’s not just the conservative outlets feeling the snub. Even unaffiliated journalists are feeling the sting of exclusion. One self-publisher even went as far as to say that the Biden press team has failed American independent journalism. Ouch! The exclusion doesn’t sit well with long-time White House reporters either, one of whom has been attending these holiday parties since the 90s. Only the Biden administration has shown such pettiness, they claim. Even former CBS News reporter, Mark Knoller, who’s covered the White House since the 70s, weighed in, basically saying, “It’s their party, they can snub who they want.”
And if you’re wondering how many people actually go to these exclusive bashes, well, nobody really knows. Some journalists who don’t even cover the White House get invites, while others have to bring their ‘plus-ones’ to show off to the big shots. And to add insult to injury, the print and radio journalist party conflicts with the Republican presidential debate. It’s like they’re deliberately trying to stick it to the journalists who have to work! Classic move, Biden administration, classic move.
So, while the Biden White House claims they’re doing their best to include everyone, it sure seems like some reporters are being left out in the cold. It’s like a never-ending soap opera of exclusion and hurt feelings. Will the snubbed journalists ever get their chance to party with the prez? Only time will tell, but for now, it looks like the White House is the hottest club in town, and not everybody’s on the guest list.
