Biden’s Re-Election Hopes Tank: Age, Disasters, & Leftist Policies to Blame

President Joe Biden’s re-election hopes are plummeting by the day, and it’s not hard to see why. First and foremost, the man is old. That’s the first thing that comes to mind when voters think of him, and it’s not a good look. On top of that, he hasn’t accomplished anything of significance. In fact, his track record is downright disastrous.

Let’s start with the immigration crisis. Thanks to Biden’s weak policies, we have record numbers of illegal immigrants pouring into our country, overwhelming our resources and putting American citizens at risk. Not to mention, his inflationary policies are killing working families. Gas prices are soaring, grocery bills are skyrocketing, and yet Biden seems to think everything is just peachy.

And let’s not forget about his egregious spending bill. This bloated piece of legislation is only making matters worse. It’s driving up inflation even more and burdening future generations with trillions of dollars in debt. But hey, at least the radical left is happy, right?

But it’s not just his disastrous policies that are sinking his chances of re-election. It’s his inability to communicate and lead. Reports have emerged of Biden being irritable and angry, berating his staff on a whim. It’s no wonder his aides have implemented a buddy system when entering the Oval Office. They don’t want to face his wrath alone.

And speaking of his limitations, his complete silence on the devastating Maui wildfires was incredibly telling. While whole communities were being ravaged by the flames, Biden was on vacation, completely disengaged from the crisis at hand. It took public backlash for him to even acknowledge the tragedy, and even then, he seemed more concerned with his own leisure than the lives and livelihoods that were being destroyed.

All of these weaknesses are reflected in the recent Washington Post/ABC News poll. Biden’s job approval rating is abysmal, with 56% of Americans disapproving of his performance. A record number of Americans say they are worse off financially under his presidency. And let’s not forget the 74% who say he’s too old for another term. Ouch.

Even within his own party, there’s growing dissatisfaction with Biden. A remarkable 62% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents believe the party should choose someone other than Biden as its nominee in 2024. That’s a significant blow to his supposed support within his own ranks.

Now, this isn’t to say that Trump or the GOP are guaranteed an easy win in 2024. Both candidates are unpopular, and the general electorate is not thrilled with either of them. But when nearly half the country believes their financial situation is worse under Biden than it was four years ago, that’s a major problem. It’s a political injury that may be too severe to recover from, especially when it seems like Biden is more focused on catering to fringe left-wing causes than actually governing.

And let’s not forget his penchant for naps and vacations. It’s hard for the American people to have confidence in a leader who can’t seem to stay awake or stay in the White House long enough to do the job he was elected to do. We need a president who is alert, engaged, and ready to fight for the American people. Unfortunately, Joe Biden doesn’t seem up to the task.
