Last week, the House Ways and Means Committee disclosed information from IRS whistleblowers, claiming that Hunter Biden received preferential treatment before receiving a lenient plea deal. In response, the White House has attempted to change its story regarding President Joe Biden’s knowledge of his son’s suspicious businesses.

During a press briefing on Friday, Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer questions about President Biden’s role in his son’s businesses and repeatedly referred reporters to the White House Counsel’s Office. Jean-Pierre insisted that “nothing has changed,” but even mainstream reporters expressed frustration with her response.

During the 2020 campaign, Biden adamantly denied discussing his son’s overseas business dealings, stating that he had “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” and “never discussed my business or their business, my son’s or daughter’s.” The White House has previously reiterated this statement, but now they are backtracking.
According to White House spokesman Ian Sams, “the President was not in business with his son.” This new narrative contradicts what the White House has previously stated and what Biden himself has said. The White House seems to be acknowledging that there may have been discussions between Biden and Hunter about the latter’s businesses, but they are hoping there won’t be any proof that Joe Biden was “in business” with his son.
It’s clear that the Biden administration has changed their story as more information has come to light about Hunter’s shady dealings and the potential involvement of the president. Despite their attempts to shift the narrative, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that Biden, Jean-Pierre, and others in the White House lied about the president’s knowledge of his son’s businesses.
As the evidence mounts against the first family, they seem to be banking on Americans not noticing that they’ve changed their story. But it’s becoming increasingly difficult to ignore the inconsistencies and contradictions coming from the White House.
