Republican Chairman Pat Fallon recently revealed some shocking news about the Biden administration’s energy rules. In a Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Energy Policy, and Regulatory Affairs hearing, Fallon expressed his concerns about the Department of Energy’s proposed rules on home appliances. He called it a “tidal wave of regulatory burdens” that will inevitably impact every American’s daily life. And if you think gas stoves are the end of it, oh boy, you’re in for a surprise.

The Consumer Convention Cooking Products Rule, which mandates stricter requirements for gas stoves, is just the tip of the iceberg. There are discussions underway about regulating dishwashers, refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, and who knows what else. All of this is being done under the guise of improving energy efficiency, thanks to the Environmental Policy and Conservation Act, or as I like to call it, “EPCA,” the Energy Police and Control Act.
But here’s the real kicker, folks. The Energy Department doesn’t even want to give any answers. They’ve been invited to explain themselves, but no, they’re too busy hiding in their bureaucratic hideouts, refusing to face the music. I mean, are we surprised? This is just another classic example of the left trying to pass their radical agenda without even having to justify it. Sneaky, sneaky.
And let’s not forget the media’s role in all of this. When reports first emerged about the gas stove regulations, the Democrats and their liberal media buddies dismissed it as a conspiracy theory. But now we know the truth – Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm has been laboring away on these regulations and bans behind the scenes. It’s like they think we’re all idiots. Well, sorry to burst their bubble, but we see right through their lies.
Folks, this is the Green New Scam in action. They want to control every aspect of our lives, even down to the appliances we use in our own homes. It’s an assault on personal freedom and individual choice. We should be able to decide for ourselves what kind of dishwasher or refrigerator we want, without Big Brother Biden breathing down our necks.
It’s time to stand up and say no to these intrusive regulations. We deserve the right to live our lives without government interference. So, next time you’re using your trusty old gas stove, take a moment to appreciate the freedom it represents. And remember, there are politicians out there who want to take that freedom away from you.
