According to a CNN guest, the violent riots in Atlanta were not as violent as they were. During the riots, protestors set fire to cars and windows, and they also shot fireworks at buildings.
According to David Peisner, the only violent acts that he witnessed were when police officers used force to apprehend rioters.
"He claims that there were only a few violent acts that he witnessed, such as the police tackling protesters."
The liberal guest noted that destroying physical property is not as violent as attacking humans.
"The word "violent" has blurred the lines in the way it is used. For instance, some people believe that property destruction is akin to violence against humans. However, this concept is very dangerous and slippery."
TikTok users pointed out the interview, comparing it to CNN's coverage of the "Black Lives Matter" protests in 2020. During the interview, a reporter stated that the riots were peaceful, as cars were set on fire behind him, and he was wearing safety goggles.

Brian Kemp, the governor of Georgia, condemned the riots. He vowed that those involved would not be tolerated.
"Despite the peaceful nature of the protests, the state will not tolerate acts of violence against people or property. Those who commit these unlawful acts will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law."
Violence and unlawful destruction of property are not acts of protest. They are crimes that will not be tolerated in Georgia and will be prosecuted fully.
Thank you to the hardworking @ga_dps, @GBI_GA, @Atlanta_Police, and others actively keeping our streets safe tonight.
