CVS has joined the trend of the Left's progressive agenda by accepting the idea that individuals can identify as a different gender based on their current feelings. This is a disappointing development as even pharmacies seem to be disregarding scientific evidence in favor of embracing the "woke" ideology.

CVS has introduced new guidelines for "gender transition", mandating its employees to refer to individuals by their preferred names and pronouns. The guidelines also permit people to use restrooms and locker rooms of their choice, irrespective of their gender identity.
However, it doesn't end there as employees are allowed to take time off from work for gender-related activities under the "Family and Medical Leave Act, state law, and/or CVS Health policy." The question remains, should taxpayers' money be used for such purposes?
Moreover, CVS encourages employees who are undergoing a gender transition to inform the company to receive support and make the process as seamless as possible. This raises the question of where the boundary lies between an individual's personal life and an employer's responsibility to provide assistance.
CVS is urging its employees to be extremely cautious at work, avoiding any possibility of misgendering a person, even if their appearance indicates otherwise. Furthermore, they have requested employees to notify their co-workers if they find any statement or action offensive. This appears to be a direct infringement of freedom of speech and expression.
Although CVS claims to be combating discrimination and harassment, it is evident that they are placing more emphasis on embracing the "woke" ideology than using common sense and scientific evidence. There is no scientific research supporting the notion that an individual can alter their sex merely by verbal assertion. It is high time for society to acknowledge that biology is not a subject open to debate.
It is a disgrace that CVS is forcing its employees to accept someone’s gender identity without any scientific evidence, simply based on their own feelings. This is not progress, it’s regression.
