DC Exposed! Court Slams Selective Anti-Graffiti Laws Favoring BLM Over Pro-Life Cause

The U.S. Court of Appeals has just exposed the hypocrisy of Washington, D.C. officials, after they abandoned their efforts to enforce an ordinance against damaging public property during the Black Lives Matter riots in 2020.

In addition, they only enforced the ordinance against the pro-life protestors who were using chalk to write messages outside an abortion clinic.

The groups that sued the city were not satisfied with the way the anti-graffiti ordinance was enforced. They decided to take the issue to court. The court ruled that the city had been discriminating against the groups by selectively enforcing the law. It's not surprising that vandals from the Black Lives Matter movement would deface property and spray-paint anti-police messages all across the city.

There are plenty of examples out there. One of these is the case of DC Mayor Muriel Bowser's fancy street mural, which was painted in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. On the next day, some protesters added their own message to the mural, which read "Defund the Police."

It occurred to me that the police officers who stood there did not arrest the individuals who added their message to the mural. They merely watched as it happened, and they did not get charged or arrested. The city then left the little addition for several months before removing it.

Another example of hypocrisy is the way the protesters were able to cover the scaffolding of the Chamber of Commerce without anyone stopping them. They were free to do whatever they wanted to do, and they didn't get arrested or charged. It's like the city has turned a blind eye to the issue of defacing property.

The court ruled that it is unconstitutional to selectively enforce laws based on the viewpoint of speech that's expressed. This is a huge victory for free speech advocates, as it shows that even though we have the right to dissent, we still have to fight for it.

The twisted world of Washington D.C. is a place where certain groups are prioritized over others. It's also a place where students are fighting against the abortion industry, which is led by Planned Parenthood. This is why it's important that we continue to fight against the hypocritical actions of the government.
