Deep State Strikes Again: Judges Call Out Special Counsel’s Blatant Violation of Trump’s Rights!

Well, well, well, it looks like the deep state is at it again, folks. Four judges on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals have finally stepped up and called out their colleagues for their rubber-stamping ways. What’s got their feathers all ruffled? None other than special counsel Jack Smith’s blatant violation of our former President Donald Trump’s rights.

You see, Smith thought he could just waltz in and obtain a search warrant to snoop around Trump’s Twitter account. Can you believe the audacity? And to top it off, he got a nondisclosure order, which basically means Twitter couldn’t even spill the beans to the former president. Talk about shady tactics!

But thank goodness we still have some constitutionally-minded judges in this country. Judge Naomi Rao, a true champion of justice and a Trump appointee, had the guts to speak up. She wrote a scathing statement, joined by Judges Karen Henderson, Gregory Katsas, and Justin Walker, calling out the court for blindly endorsing this outrageous behavior.

According to Rao, Smith’s approach completely disregarded the concept of executive privilege and the Presidential Records Act. It’s like he just thought he could dodge the rules and trample all over the balance of power. Well, newsflash, Mr. Special Counsel, we have laws in this country, and you can’t just play fast and loose with them.

But it’s not just Smith who should be held accountable. The district court and the whole dang circuit court failed to consider the executive privilege issues at hand. They didn’t even bother to give our former president a chance to invoke executive privilege before going on a fishing expedition through his social media. It’s clear they were more interested in sticking it to Trump than upholding the principles and procedures that protect our democracy.

It’s a relief that at least Judge Beryl Howell showed some sense when she first approved the warrant. But it’s a shame that she was later joined by a panel of judges who were more concerned with political agendas than with respecting the rights of a former president. We can only hope that this rebuke from Rao and her fellow judges will serve as a wake-up call to all those activist judges out there who think they can trample on our constitutional rights.

This whole situation just goes to show that we need more judges like Rao, who are willing to stand up for what’s right, even if it means going against the grain. We should be defending executive privilege and holding the deep state accountable, not giving them a free pass to invade the privacy of our leaders. It’s time to put an end to these blatant violations and restore justice to our courts.
