In a surprising turn of events, a House Democrat has finally come to terms with the fact that Hunter Biden, son of the president, may have committed some serious violations of the law. Representative Jim Himes from Connecticut, a Democrat, admitted that there is a possibility that Hunter broke tax and gun laws. However, Himes was quick to dismiss any suggestion of more serious crimes, emphasizing that there is “zero” evidence to support such claims.
But let’s not ignore the obvious deflections and caveats that Himes used to soften the blow. First, his use of the word “possibly” to describe Hunter’s tax and gun violations is nothing short of ridiculous. We all know that Hunter Biden lied on a gun form, which is a clear crime, no ifs, ands, or buts.

Not only that, but Himes conveniently chose to focus solely on the crimes mentioned in Hunter’s failed sweetheart plea deal, conveniently ignoring the mounting evidence of more serious offenses like money laundering and unregistered foreign lobbying. It seems like Democrats are always trying to downplay the gravity of their wrongdoings.
And to top it all off, Himes attempted to deflect blame by accusing Republicans of giving preferential treatment to Donald Trump. Really? We all know that if there were even a hint of wrongdoing from the Trump family, Democrats would be all over it like white on rice. But when it comes to Hunter and Joe Biden, suddenly they want to play the innocence card.
Speaking of Joe Biden, Himes was quick to defend him, claiming that there is “zero, zero evidence” of his involvement in any unethical or illegal activities. Well, Himes, you might want to check your facts. Just a few days after this interview, Hunter’s former business partner, Devon Archer, testified that Joe Biden was present and engaged in over a dozen foreign business meetings. How’s that for “zero evidence”?
It’s clear that Democrats are scrambling to control the damage caused by Hunter’s shady dealings. They know their fairy tale narrative of Joe Biden’s innocence is falling apart. The American people deserve the truth, not the selective storytelling and blatant partisanship we continuously witness from the left. It’s time for accountability, and no amount of deflection or backpedaling can change that.
