Driver Dies in Late Night Crash at White House Gate, Biden Away

A tragic event occurred when a driver crashed into a gate outside the White House complex late Saturday night, resulting in the driver’s death. President Biden was away on vacation during the incident, and the Secret Service ensured that there was no danger to the White House.

Although the male driver’s identity remains unknown, the Secret Service confirmed his death inside the vehicle after the crash, which took place around 10:30 p.m. The authorities are treating the incident as a traffic crash and are investigating further.

It was reported by the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department that the vehicle struck a security barrier at the intersection of 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The police arrived on the scene shortly after 10:30 p.m. and declared the male driver deceased.

Following the crash, the Secret Service promptly implemented security procedures, emphasizing that the White House was secure. The Secret Service and D.C. Metro Police will conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.

It is concerning that another vehicle has hit the White House perimeter in recent months, as this raises questions about security measures in place. President Biden not being present during these incidents demonstrates the importance of maintaining strong security protocols at all times to protect the President and the White House.
