Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, has finally given in to the pressure from House Republicans and agreed to sit for a deposition behind closed doors. It seems like he couldn’t dodge the subpoenas any longer. His defense attorney, Abbe Lowell, sent a letter to the House Oversight Committee and House Judiciary Committee, stating that Biden would comply with the new subpoena. However, he didn’t miss the opportunity to criticize the committees for not wanting a public hearing. It’s clear that Biden’s team is trying to control the narrative.
?BREAKING? Hunter Biden Caves To House Republicans, Agrees To Sit For Deposition If Lawmakers Issue New Subpoena

It’s about time House Republicans take action against Hunter Biden. Majority Leader Steve Scalise announced that a floor vote will be held next week to determine whether Biden should be held in contempt of Congress for his repeated refusal to appear for a closed-door deposition. But will they actually follow through? We’ve seen Republican lawmakers reject Biden’s offer to testify publicly and insist on the closed-door session. It’s frustrating to see them giving Biden so many chances to avoid accountability.
In a surprise twist, Hunter Biden made an appearance at the House Oversight Committee’s markup hearing. However, he didn’t stick around for long. As soon as Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene started asking questions, he dashed out of the room. Talk about avoiding the tough questions! It’s clear that Biden doesn’t want to be held accountable for his actions, and he’s willing to do anything to escape the scrutiny.
But that’s not all. Just a day after storming out of the hearing, Hunter Biden flew back to Los Angeles, where he pleaded not guilty to nine federal tax-related charges. It’s ironic how someone who seems to have trouble following the law is now facing serious charges. If convicted, he could be looking at up to 17 years in prison. Maybe it’s time for him to start taking responsibility for his actions.
It’s important to remember that House Republicans authorized the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden after Hunter staged a press conference instead of attending the scheduled deposition. This just shows the lengths the Bidens are willing to go to avoid accountability. It’s a shame that they think they’re above the law. Hopefully, Republicans will hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress and finally shed some light on the truth. The American people deserve transparency and justice.
