It has also been revealed that she has a power of attorney, and her daughter Katherine is in charge of her legal matters. It is a shocking situation.
In a drama unfolding, Katherine Feinstein, the trustee of Senator Dianne Feinstein's estate, has filed two lawsuits against her co-trustees. The fight between her relatives and the three daughters of Richard Blum is reportedly ongoing.
First up is the beach house she reportedly wants to sell in the exclusive community of Stinson Beach. It’s reportedly no longer her intention to use it. With that in mind, I can’t blame her for wanting to get rid of the expensive beach house.

The lawyers who are representing the trustees have not been able to find any documents related to Katherine's power of attorney. It's a shocking situation, and it's even more confounding that a sitting US senator would need someone else to manage her legal affairs.
Besides her health and age, it's also clear that Senator Feinstein's ability to perform her duties effectively is in doubt. She has been known to get around the Capitol with the help of aides, and she sometimes has mental lapses. For instance, she was asked to vote "aye" after giving a speech even though it wasn't required.
It's time for Senator Dianne Feinstein to retire and allow someone else to take over. In California, we need better representation, and a new face should be leading the way.
