Generals Who Reject Bold Military Reforms Should Get Out Now

There’s a war going on—not just overseas, but inside the very ranks of America’s military leadership. It’s a battle for discipline, honor, and mission readiness, and the so-called “top brass” who refuse to back Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s bold reforms are on the losing side. Enough with the excuses, the whining, and the refusal to face facts. If these generals and admirals can’t get with the program, they should step aside and make way for people who actually care about winning and keeping our troops alive.

Hegseth didn’t whisper his orders. He laid down the law in front of the senior commanders—twice-yearly physical fitness tests, stricter grooming standards, and a culture that demands excellence, not soft excuses. This isn’t about political correctness or coddling fragile egos. It’s about a tough, pragmatic approach that honors the sacrifices of veterans who bled and lost limbs because commanders failed to do what was necessary. If you can’t pass the height and weight standards or swallow hard on clearing enemy towns with real firepower instead of sending young Americans to die, then you have no business wearing the uniform.

The military has been infected by decades of liberal nonsense — diversity quotas, radical gender policies, and allowing Marxist ideology to infiltrate our war colleges. Hegseth’s decision to strip out DEI propaganda and halt sex-change procedures for service members shocked the left, but it’s exactly what our armed forces need. The Department of War is back—literal and symbolic—and it’s time to jettison weak-willed leaders more interested in virtue signaling than fighting. For those generals and admirals who are offended or resistant, the message is clear: retire quietly and stop softening the fighting edge of America’s military.

Veterans who fought in the Global War on Terror, who paid the ultimate price, are watching. A former Marine who lost his legs in battle can still meet the Army’s physical standards today. That puts every out-of-shape general sitting behind a desk to shame. We owe nothing to officers who prioritize their cushy retirements or think-tank gigs over the lives of soldiers in harm’s way. True leadership means standing with reform, accepting tough realities, and ensuring our troops are ready to face real threats—not bowing to woke agendas or globalist pressure.

The bottom line is this: either stand behind the reforms that restore discipline, focus, and readiness, or get the hell out. America deserves warriors in uniform, not careerists or bureaucrats who undermine our national defense while posing as leaders. If these generals and admirals can’t meet the moment, don’t let them hold our military back anymore. It’s time to clean house and get back to winning wars, the old-fashioned way.
