It seems like the Democrats are obsessed with impeaching Joe Biden, but let’s be real here, folks. There’s no way they’re going to successfully impeach him. This impeachment inquiry is just a distraction from the real issues at hand, like Kevin McCarthy’s attempt to avoid a government shutdown.
Now, we all know that there’s a lot of smoke when it comes to Biden’s involvement with his son’s business. We can’t just ignore that. But the Republicans haven’t found the fire yet, and they probably won’t. So why waste time and resources on a doomed impeachment effort?
The real reason McCarthy is endorsing this impeachment inquiry is because he’s facing challenges from his own party. He’s being challenged from the right by Matt Gaetz, and the Freedom Caucus is eyeing a government shutdown. McCarthy is trying to appease everyone and keep his speakership intact. It’s not a great time to be him.

But here’s the thing, an impeachment inquiry is only going to distract from the important work of keeping the government open. If the government shuts down, we can’t get the documents and information we need to actually hold Biden accountable. So why play this risky game?
Don’t get me wrong, I understand the desire to investigate Biden further. But we have to think about the bigger picture. We can’t let our fiscal responsibility go out the window in the pursuit of taking down a president. It’s just not worth it.
The politicians in the House are more interested in their own power and the well-being of the government than the well-being of the American people. It’s time for them to start prioritizing the issues that actually matter. Let’s focus on passing responsible spending bills and getting our country back on track, instead of getting distracted by this impeachment sideshow.
